A FEAST OF FRIGHTS to feature “Clawed Sod”

The Horror Zine is releasing an anthology in 2012 entitled A FEAST OF FRIGHTS FROM THE HORROR ZINE, featuring my short story about the undead called “Clawed Sod.” My contribution isn’t so much a zombie story as it is a revenant story. They’re both reanimated corpses, but zombies are brought back from death as mindless automatons, whereas revenants have a very specific agenda–righting a wrong they suffered (or committed) in life. “Clawed Sod” is very much a revenant story.

There are a number of notable writers represented in A FEAST OF FRIGHTS FROM THE HORROR ZINE, including Simon Clark, Graham Masterton, Joe R. Lansdale, Scott Nicholson, Cheryl Kaye Tardif, Joe McKinney, Susie Moloney, Tom Piccirilli, Ed Gorman, Trevor Denyer, and Jeff Strand. In addition, the book will feature essays from John Gilmore, Deborah LeBlanc, Earl Hamner, Kasey Lansdale and Tim Lebbon, and a foreword from horror great Ramsey Campbell. Add in some brilliant poetry and artwork, and you have an anthology any horror fan should run toward screaming (while everyone else is running away doing the same).
