What’s up, Canada? Where’s the love?

So WordPress has this new feature that lets you track the number of people who’ve visited your site from different countries around the world. Here are the top dozen nations from where I’ve had visitors since the feature was launched, listed from most popular to least:

  1. United States
  2. Malaysia
  3. Chile
  4. Canada
  5. Malta
  6. Hungary
  7. Sweden
  8. Russian Federation
  9. Bangladesh
  10. Belgium
  11. France
  12. United Kingdom

My question is, “What’s up, Canada?” because, while fourth is pretty good (and Mexico didn’t even make the list) apparently you don’t like me as much as Malaysia or Chile, and then there’s the U.K. way down at the bottom of the list, which seems weird, because I’ve been published in British magazines, and appeared in anthologies with Brits, as well.

I think I might have been better off not knowing these rankings, because now I’m up late trying to make sense of them.
