The Ghost IS the Machine, featuring “The Talent’s in the Bones,” expected July 2012.

The table of contents for The Ghost IS the Machine, featuring my short story, “The Talent’s in the Bones,” is almost set, and that’s the first major (and probably biggest) hurdle toward publication. Other contributors at this point include Jay Wilburn, J. David Anderson, J.C. Hemphill, Matthew Hughes, Rose Blackthorn, and Joe Hill, who collaborated with his father, Stephen King, on Throttle, a tribute to Richard Matheson.

Publisher Eric Beebe of Post Mortem Press is targeting the end of July for an official release date, but if you’re attending Confluence the weekend of July 27-29 in Pittsburgh, you just might get your hands on a copy just a wee bit earlier. No guarantees at this point. Just tantalizing possibilities.

Check back for further updates on release information, and be sure to ‘like’ the official The Ghost IS the Machine Facebook page to receive updates in your news feed about publication details as they become available.
