FORTUNE: LOST AND FOUND expected August 15th
Buy FORTUNE: LOST AND FOUND, featuring my story, “The Plagiarist’s Wireless,” (Omnium Gatherum Books) later this month through booksellers such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
The anthology, edited by L.S. Murphy and Kate Jonez, should be available in paperback ($13.99) and Kindle and Nook ebook ($2.99) formats starting August 15th (barring any delays at the printer’s–which even in this day and age is still a possibility).
FORTUNE: LOST AND FOUND marks a return to print for “The Plagiarist’s Wireless,” which was originally published in issue #13 of Golden Visions of Fantasy and Science Fiction (January 2011).
The story is about a rock n’ roll journalist who finds out why an influential band (inspired by two of my favorite groups: Steppenwolf & Guns n’ Roses) abruptly called it quits in 1977.

Hey, I really loved your story, it gripped me to the end, then I read it again, so yeh brilliant. Also loved Twisted Words (Andrew M Stockton) – the cleverest, scariest short story I’ve read for ages – and Hungry (Eric J. Guignard) – the main character so well drawn.
PS Love Steppenwolf too, which probably helped heh heh

Steppenwolf kills, and it has always annoyed me that very few people even know about them outside “Born to be Wild” and “Magic Carpet Ride,” which you can probably guess from reading “The Plagiarist’s Wireless.” So glad you enjoyed the stories! I feel that I’m in some pretty good company, there.
