Authors and titles added to MISERIA’S CHORALE
MISERIA’S CHORALE, featuring my short story, “Becoming the Beast”, has added several pieces to the table of contents, and you’ll probably recognize a few of the names. In addition to my tale, Forgotten Tomb Press has confirmed the following:
- “Visit” by Richard Godwin
- “Give Me Convenience” by Shaun Meeks
- “King of a Distant Star” by Tim Jeffreys
- “The Wind” by Ryan Neil Falcone
This bodes well for the anthology. Shaun Meeks is an excellent writer who authored the collection AT THE GATES OF MADNESS and, with his brother James, BROTHER’S ILK. Meeks’s work has appeared alongside mine in the anthologies SHADOW MASTERS (Imajin Books), ZIPPERED FLESH 2 (Smart Rhino Publications), and A FEAST OF FRIGHTS (The Horror Zine), and we will also both have work appearing in DARK LIGHT III (Crushing Hearts and Black Butterfly Publishing).
I became acquainted with Jeffreys’s fine work when we shared pages in WHAT FEARS BECOME (Imajin Books) in 2011. We also appear together in its new sister anthology, SHADOW MASTERS now available in eBook and paperback at Amazon.com. Other common anthologies include PASSION FOR WEIRD TALES and SPARKS.
Godwin and Falcone are new to me, and I look forward to reading their stories as much as I look forward to finding from where the next additions to the table of contents will come. Edited by David Nell, MISERIA’S CHORALE, will be released this October in eBook and paperback formats via Amazon.com, CreateSpace.com, Smashwords.com, and other selected outlets.
