I sold all but one copy of LOSING TOUCH at Printer’s Row

Post Mortem Press sold more books at the 2013 Printer’s Row Lit Fest than at any other show in its history but one (owing in large part to Brian Dobbins, Michael David Matula, and Cynthia Pelayo signing copies of their books), and when we packed up at the end of the day yesterday, we had a single copy of LOSING TOUCH left.

Eric Beebe, publisher-in-chief, will be bringing plenty more copies to the World Horror Convention in New Orleans this weekend, and I hope to sign each and every one of them. I was so close to a sell out that it’s something of a goal for me now.

I’ll also have plenty of copies on hand for the official Chicago launch event at the Aberdeen Tap in the River West neighborhood on June 23 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and at Read Between the Lynes in Woodstock on June 30 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

To keep tabs on where I’ll be, click the ‘Appearances’ link in the menu on the right side of your screen. I’ll be adding new dates shortly.

  1. It was nice to meet you and the others at Post Mortem’s table, and I’m looking forward to reading LOSING TOUCH…

  2. I can do that. I’m reading it now and enjoying it! It might be an interesting blog entry if you talked about how Piers Anthony (a fave of mine from my long-since-gone youth) came to write the intro… I had sort of forgotten about all those Anthony books, but after thinking more about it, I think they’d be perfect for my son to start in on…

    • Thanks for the kind words about LOSING TOUCH! I also have a hard time categorizing the book, but what’s important is that you enjoyed it.

PIers and I were in an anthology together called WHAT FEARS BECOME. I corresponded with him then (I think this was 2011) and kept the emails. When I finished LOSING TOUCH, I approached him about the foreword, and he agreed. It was really as simple as that. Piers is a great writer and a terrific person. I can’t speak highly enough of him.
