Great fun had by all at Read Between the Lynes

LOSING TOUCH, now available from Post Mortem Press.

The LOSING TOUCH signing at Read Between the Lynes yesterday was a complete blast.  Maybe I’m a bit of a goober for saying that about an event at a bookstore, especially after all the beers I had at The Aberdeen Tap book signing last week, but damnit, it really was a complete and total blast.

Arlene Lynes (the owner, so now you know why it’s spelled differently) has a beautiful storefront on the corner of the historic square in downtown Woodstock.

How historic? It’s the place Phil Connors (Bill Murray) punched out Ned Ryerson (Stephen Tobolowsky) in GROUNDHOG DAY (1993), just for being punchable.

Read Between the Lynes is a bibliophile’s dream, a place with a great selection and a couple of leather easy chairs to thumb through your potential purchases. Had a few of those yesterday, and so did J. Michael Major, who was signing copies of his own debut novel, ONE MAN’S CASTLE.

This Sunday, I’ll be at Days of the Dead in Indianapolis at the Wyndham Indianapolis West. I’ll be there from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern. Because that’s the time zone they’re in.
