I met Danny Trejo at Days of the Dead
I didn’t get a picture, but I swear to all that is good, I met Danny Trejo at Days of the Dead in Indianapolis yesterday. Shook my hand and everything, and I didn’t even void my bowels. Nice guy, too. Fist bumped a seven-year-old kid not two feet away from me.
Sold some copies of LOSING TOUCH and met some really cool people, too, like J. David Anderson, author of A TRAIL IN BLOOD and C. Bryan Brown, who wrote NECROMANCER.
I also got to hang out again with Brian Dobbins, who was signing copies of JASMINE’S TALE at Printer’s Row Lit Fest a couple of weeks ago. Brian’s into some weird stuff.
And in case you’re looking for proof that I hung out with these fine gentlemen, here is photographic evidence:
Next up for LOSING TOUCH? I will be signing copies this Saturday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at NovelTea Bookstore in downtown Kenosha–5700 6th Avenue, to be precise. Here are the store’s regular hours:
- Tue – Fri: 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Sat: 9:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Sun: 11:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
But on Saturday, they will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and from 2 to 5 p.m., I’ll be there signing copies of LOSING TOUCH, and maybe a few other surprises, too.
