BLEED charity anthology to feature horror greats
Perpetual Motion Machine Publishing has released the titles and authors for its upcoming charity anthology, BLEED: A BOOK OF HOPE, which will include my short story, “The Funeral Portrait”.
I wrote “The Funeral Portrait” after looking through a gallery of post-mortem portraits, which was fairly common in the early days of photography.
Forty-five total authors contributed to the anthology, including some bestselling and award-winning writers, guaranteeing that the table of contents will be packed with terrifying stories, insightful essays, and evocative poems … all where the monster represents cancer:

The release is expected in September, coinciding with Children’s Cancer Month.
