Xanth creator Piers Anthony, who contributed the foreword to my novel, LOSING TOUCH, says that SHADOW MASTERS: AN ANTHOLOGY FROM THE HORROR ZINE is “a significant contribution to the horror genre, and horror fans should love it. Maybe even some non-horror fans.”

Anthony began his rise to super-stardom with the 1977 publication of his first Xanth novel, A SPELL FOR CHAMELEON. He has since appeared on the New York Times bestseller list an astonishing twenty-one times, and contributed the original tale, “Lost Things” to the Horror Zine’s previous anthology, WHAT FEARS BECOME.

In a post at hipiers.com, Anthony singles out several stories, including those by Melanie Tem, Jonathan Chapman, Jeff Bennington, and Bentley Little as ones that made an impression on him, but identifies all the contributing writers to SHADOW MASTERS as “top horror authors who obviously know their craft”. Here is the complete table of contents:

SHADOW MASTERS (Imajin Books) is a product of THE HORROR ZINE, a monthly e-zine that publishes new issues the first of every month.
