ZIPPERED FLESH 2 is “one of the strangest collections of stories you’ll find”
Issue #85 of TRUE REVIEW features Andrew Andrews’s review of ZIPPERED FLESH 2, which features my short story, “The Little Things”:
One of the strangest collections of stories you will find – about plastic surgery or any kind of unnatural body enhancements gone terribly awry – and what this does to ordinary people – and friends and family of ordinary people.
The best story in this collection is “Primal Tongue” by Michael Bailey. What if we lived in a world in which books, languages, experiences, almost everything could be USB-ported into our memories and our own consciousness? Gil Sloat is able to do just that – automatically translate Danish, Spanish, and in this case, even Hindi. Of course, all that has value on the street, and like an expensive gold watch, needs to be protected — or, in a worse-case scenario, all in life could be lost. Remember this story…
