Good times at Barnes & Noble HorrorFest in Racine!

Thank you to everybody who came out to Barnes & Noble in Racine today for HorrorFest 2013, featuring readings, signings, and Q & A sessions and a writing workshop with some of the area’s freakiest authors.

If you weren’t there, you missed presentations from Christine Verstraete (GIRL Z: MY LIFE AS A TEENAGE ZOMBIE), John Everson (VIOLET EYES),  Linda Godfrey (WEIRD WISCONSIN), W. D. Gagliani (WOLF’S TRAP), and Brian Pinkerton (KILLER’S DIARY).

There was even surprise visits from authors Pat Steiner (“The Shoe Tree” from CHIRAL MAD) and David Benton (“Piper at the Gates of Dawn” from ZIPPERED FLESH 2 with W.D. Gagliani).

I’m not really good at faking smiles, so you can tell I had a pretty damned good time…

I hope everybody had a damned good time. Sure seems like that was the case. I hope to see you at the Barnes & Noble in Racine next year, and if you can’t wait, I’ll be at Homegrown HorrorFest at Iannelli Studios in Park Ridge this coming Sunday for more readings, music, and Halloween fun.
