Everybody loves to hear a story–read to them–whether its listening to an audio book in the car, to a school librarian while sitting in a semicircle of kids, or to your mom or dad with the covers pulled up to your chin.

So, if you’re a human being, you’ll want to circle November 15th on your calendar. I’ll be reading from LOSING TOUCH at Bad Grammar Theater, presented by Powell’s Bookstore University Village in the Pilsen Neighborhood of Chicago.

The reading takes place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with readings on the half hour and hour.  In its “Cure for Boredom” feature, CBS 2 Chicago says Bad Grammar Theater is “a nice place to go if you both want to talk to your friends and hear some good stories.” The event is free, and you can come or go as you please.

Powell’s Bookstore University Village is on Halsted Street just south of Roosevelt Road, a block and a half west of the Dan Ryan Expressway.
