CapriCon 34 coming this weekend!
Science-fiction and fantasy fans … come on down! CapriCon 34 is this weekend at the Westin Chicago North Shore in Wheeling, and I’ll be signing copies of LOSING TOUCH. But I won’t be there alone.
Michael Matula will be signing copies of his novel, TRY NOT TO BURN, a story about three lost souls trying to escape from Hell. It’s been described as a “mash-up of The Matrix and Dante’s Inferno.”
Cina Pelayo, owner of Burial Day Books, will be personalizing her book, SANTA MUERTE, about three teenage girls who summon the patron saint of death. It’ll make you think twice about that innocent-looking Parker Brothers ouija board.
In addition, Martin Rocha will be selling prints of his super hero and pop culture artwork. He took first place in the 2011 “Fest for Beatles Fans” art competition, and was a popular stop for fans and art aficionados alike at last year’s Wizard World Chicago.
Stop by our dealer’s table while you’re there:
- Thursday: 7 p.m to 9 p.m.
- Friday: Noon to 7 p.m.
- Saturday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Sunday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
But remember, CapriCon isn’t just for buying things. It’s the area’s longest-running four day genre convention, packed with music and dance, gaming and good times. Click here to register.

Very much looking forward to it. I’m also glad you posted the times. I was going to have to go hunt those down again.
