‘The Outer Artist’ blogs about LOSING TOUCH

Michelle Finkler, who blogs at ‘The Outer Artist‘, bought a copy of LOSING TOUCH at the Pop-Up Book Fair in Oak Park on Sunday and she wrote about her thoughts in her post entitled ‘My finds from an indie book fair’:

When I chatted with local author Christian A. Larsen about his first book LOSING TOUCH, he described it as a story of a man who is down on his luck. And while he’s coping with his various life issues, he discovers he is able to walk through walls. I told Christian that his book description reminded me of THE TIME TRAVELER’S WIFE by Audrey Niffenegger, and he said he loves that book and that LOSING TOUCH is similar in that it’s not exactly sci-fi but has a fantasy element to it. If you’re drawn to these kinds of stories, I would also recommend reading the short story “Bibi from Jupiter” by Tessa Mellas. It’s about a girl who goes to college and finds out her roommate is an alien. I read it in NARRATIVE MAGAZINE last year and totally loved it.
