Massie, Kemper tales highlight new additions to QUALIA NOUS
Two-time Bram Stoker Award®-winner Elizabeth Massie has contributed a story to the upcoming horror/sci-fi anthology from Written Backwards, QUALIA NOUS, which will feature my short story, “Cataldo’s Copy”. Erinn Kemper has also contributed, bringing the total number of stories so far to fourteen … and two poems.
Massie, who won her first Stoker in 1990 for her novella, STEPHEN, edging out Stephen King’s THE LANGOLIERS. She added another Stoker Award in 1992 for outstanding achievement in a first novel with SINEATER. Her 2013 novel, DESPER HOLLOW, puts an undead spin on a TUCK EVERLASTING-type tale.
Kemper’s short story, “Huskies”, appears in SHIFTERS (Hazardous Press), which also features my short story, “One Bottle, No Label”. She also contributed “The Cost of Moving the Dead” in ZOMBIES: SHAMBLING THROUGH THE AGES (Prime Books), an anthology edited by Steve Berman.
