Come to Barnes & Noble Summer Author’s Day Today
Today’s the day for the Barnes & Noble Summer Author’s Day, a free event that might just land you a new favorite book or writer.
Come to the Barnes & Noble on Green Bay Road in Racine to talk about reading, writing, and what gets stuck inside an author’s head that can only come out on the page.
I’ll be signing copies of LOSING TOUCH, and participating in the following author’s panel, moderated by Ann Marie Pilot:
- Michael Matula (author of TRY NOT TO BURN)
- Richard Thomas (editor of THE NEW BLACK)
- Anita Meyer (author of THE PRIMORDIAL LANGUAGE)
- Carol Schaufel (author of BY THE GRACE OF GOD AND YOU)
- Christian A. Larsen (author of LOSING TOUCH)
- Diana Kanecki (author of SUMMER LOVE)
- George Fennell (author of RACINE, WISCONSIN)
- J. Michael Major (author of ONE MAN’S CASTLE)
- JoBe Cerny (author of RED CIN)
- Marcie Eanes (author of PASSION’S ZEST)
- Bernice Willms (author of CHILD OF THE HEART)
From 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., young adult writer Stacey Kade (author of THE HUNT) will be hosting a workshop for attendees, and from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., readers and authors will mingle during the ‘open house’ portion of the program, signing copies of their books.
It all starts at 11:30 today at the Barnes & Noble in Racine, 2710 South Green Bay Road in the Southland Center. Make some time to come on by and support a brick and mortar bookstore, right in your own backyard. And support the authors who live there, too. We’ll love you for it.
