Horror writers converge tonight at Racine B&N

Halloween is a mere seven days away, and tonight’s the night to start the festivities … at the Racine Barnes & Noble on South Green Bay Road. I will be part of the author’s panel at 6:00 p.m., as we talk with each other (and you) about horror, why we write it and why we read it.

Participating authors include W.D. Gagliani (WOLF’S TRAP), David Benton (AWKWARD SILENCES), Christine Verstraete (GIRL Z: MY LIFE AS A TEENAGE ZOMBIE), and Linda Godfrey (AMERICAN MONSTERS). I’m told there will also be copies of LOSING TOUCH on hand.

At 7:00 p.m., Godfrey will be discussing her latest release, AMERICAN MONSTERS, a comprehensive guide covering the history, sightings and lore surrounding the most mysterious monsters in America—including Bigfoot, the Jersey Devil, and more. Godfrey will also be answering your questions about her experiences and what inspires her.

The program is free, and starts at 6:00 p.m. sharp. You’ll find the Racine Barnes & Noble in the Southland Center at 2710 South Green Bay Road. Hope to see you there!

Christian A. Larsen is the author of LOSING TOUCH, featuring a foreword by New York Times bestselling author Piers Anthony, now available in paperback and ebook formats from Post Mortem Press.
