CPFF spotlight: The Heebie-Jeebies
It’s the night before Thanksgiving … time to be grateful that you’ve never read “The Heebie-Jeebies” to your kids, because you never know what’s hiding under your bed, just waiting to take you away.
In Todd Slawsby’s “The Heebie-Jeebies“, a child asks his mother to read from a book about creatures who live under kids’ beds … and snatch them away forever. It’s just one of the many movies screening Sunday at the Chicago Paranormal Film Festival.
This Sunday, a $10 admission nets you a dozen spooky movies–features, shorts, and even a few documentaries among them. It starts at 9:30 at Schurz High School (3601 North Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago) and the last feature starts at 5:10.
In between the flicks, check out the vendors’ room, where I’ll be personalizing the anthologies QUALIA NOUS and LOST IN THE WITCHING HOUR, as well as my novel LOSING TOUCH. Other book vendors include Breaking Fate Publishing (HATCHED, DEADHEAD MILES) and Burial Day Books (LOTERIA, GOTHIC BLUE BOOK IV).
I’ll see you there!
