SHRIEKS AND SHIVERS is “scary and imminently readable”
Amazon reader Wesley Irvin has written a five-star review of SHRIEKS AND SHIVERS, the latest anthology from The Horror Zine to feature a short story of mine.
This is one of those short fiction books that goes far above the usual entertainment bar. It isn’t just a collection of finely written, well-edited, painstakingly sculpted literary pieces so perfectly scribed it takes your breath away. But also has material directly related to the craft (my favorite being John Russo‘s, ‘A word about Zombies’).
In my Kindle version I was also able to tap the writer’s names and go directly to their own websites, or find their publishers and websites internet addresses to read even more. Considering you have such greats as Bentley Little, Ray Garton, William F. Nolan, and Tom Piccirilli floating around with the assorted bodies, boogers and boogy men, that’s a pretty big deal…
