Barnes & Noble Spring Author’s Day coming April 4
Barnes & Noble in Racine is hosting its sixth Spring Author’s Day on April 4th, and I’ll be among the panelists during the horror and genre fiction authors’ discussion from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.
Childrens’ authors will open the event from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, including Karen Franco (JACOB’S HOOP), Linda Hocutt (WHERE’S CHARLIE?), Norma Lundstrom (ALL FAMILIES ARE SPECIAL), Rachel McNamara (MISTER E. CATERPILLAR), and Jennifer Nitz (RUBIX RUCKUS REUBENSTEIN TAKES HIMSELF ON A HIKE).
The horror and genre fiction authors’ discussion is next, featuring Dave Benton (X FILES: TRUST NO ONE), Bridget Birdsall (DOUBLE EXPOSURE), JoBe Cerny (TAYLOR STREET FILE OF RED CIN), W.D. Gagliani (WOLF’S TRAP), Bernice Willims (CHILD OF THE HEART), G.J. Wise (SPIRITWOOD), and me (LOSING TOUCH).
From 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., local interest and history authors take the stage, including Laurel Bragstad (IN THE COMFORT OF SHADOWS), Marcie Eanes (SENSUAL SOUNDS), George Fennell (RACINE, WISCONSIN), Carol Schaufel (BY THE GRACE OF GOD AND YOU), and Barbara & Ken Wardius (WISCONSIN LIGHTHOUSES).
Theology becomes the focus from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. with authors Anita Meyer (THE PRIMORDIAL LANGUAGE), Alice Stacionis (THE JOURNEY TO NOW AND BEYOND), and Darlene, Junia, Rodney, Sheryl & Titus Waldner (HUTTERITES: OUR STORY OF FREEDOM) taking the stage.
From 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., mingle and chat with the authors during the open house, and maybe pick up a signed copy of a book or two that piques your interest. Barnes & Noble in Racine brings writers and readers together on Saturday, April 4th, so if you’re a reader, you don’t want to miss this!
